Best looking male Ranger armour - Guild Wars Forums

title says it all, in your opinion which is the best looking male ranger armour...

to me some look ok but none stand out as "i must have that!" which sucks cos i love playing Ranger...

currently have primeval dyed purple to match blindfold. open to all suggestions, maybe looking for something that looks good in black

I know most people seem to hate it, but I think Ranger Obsidian looks good on either gender, failing that I suppose you could be like almost every other ranger and just get Norn.

By the time this thread is over it will list every single ranger armor set in GW. There is nothing that sucks so bad that somebody won't like it.

FWIW, though, I agree with the OP. My own picks are Krytan (non-elite) and Monument, because I'm just a sucker for those long coats, though I use Elite Druid leggings with the Monument set.

My current combo is white-dyed obsidian and dread mask. It was rather expensive, especially for someone who has only been a casual non-farming player but I got it eventually.

It also looks great with an aureate also died white and some kind of white spear. It just looks too dark when died black.

Failing that, red primeval with red dread mask also looked nice. I also used to like ascalon. Simple but nice. Luxon in green-yellow and Kurzick in white looked nice too. I also hear good things about the ancient coat and the vabbian top is very nice. But most people just settle for norn.

Elite Drakescale dyed some mix of orange + Dread mask dyed same way + Chaos gloves

I saw a picture in the armor thread in the Ranger forum of a guy with Tyrian and a Shining Blade Hood. You'll have to pay RL cash for the hood, but it's definitely worth it if you want the look.

In my opinion Norn ranger looks best, with a mask of the mo zhing it looks even better.
